Don’t miss No Surrender LIVE TONIGHT at 8pm ET from Sam’s Town in Las Vegas, streaming on IMPACT Plus, YouTube for IMPACT Ultimate Insiders and FITE.
In October of 2020, Rich Swann realized his dream when he became IMPACT World Champion for the very first time. After losing the title to Kenny Omega and never receiving a rematch, Swann will finally have his opportunity to reclaim his spot at the top of the mountain when he challenges Josh Alexander nearly two years later at No Surrender. It was in the Golden Six Shooter, an elimination match from the mind of Director of Authority Santino Marella, where Swann outlasted five opponents to become #1 Contender. Meanwhile, Josh Alexander is coming off perhaps his most impressive title defense to date, a hard-fought victory over Bully Ray in Full Metal Mayhem. There’s no doubt that Alexander and Swann have the utmost respect for one another. In fact, Alexander joined forces with Swann, Frankie Kazarian and Yuya Uemura to thwart a post-match attack from The Design. But as the old saying goes, there can be no friends when you’re talking about the World Heavyweight Title. Who will leave Las Vegas with IMPACT Wrestling’s top prize? Tune in to No Surrender to find out.
At Hard To Kill, Mickie James toppled Jordynne Grace to reclaim the Knockouts World Title and bring her Last Rodeo to a triumphant conclusion. But on that same night, Masha Slamovich conquered not one, not two but three other Knockouts to become the new #1 Contender for the division’s top prize. Following James’ victory in a six-person tag team match just days later on IMPACT!, she was confronted by Slamovich who issued her a symbolic death warrant. We can now confirm that Mickie James will defend the Knockouts World Title against Masha Slamovich in a first-time-ever matchup at No Surrender. Will James remain at the top of the mountain? Or will it all come crashing down at the hands of Masha Slamovich?
Recently on IMPACT!, reigning IMPACT World Tag Team Champions and NJPW STRONG Tag Team Champions the Motor City Machine Guns reunited with their longtime ally in Time Machine, KUSHIDA. But there to spoil the party were the young guns of Bullet Club, Ace Austin and Chris Bey. After claiming that they would have left Hard To Kill as IMPACT World Tag Team Champions if it weren’t for the Major Players, Bullet Club laid out the challenge for a six-man tag team match at No Surrender. On one side, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley and KUSHIDA will join forces. Their opponents will be Chris Bey, Ace Austin and, in a jaw-dropping turn of events, New Japan Pro-Wrestling veteran KENTA. Who will be victorious in this blockbuster six-man tag team showdown in Las Vegas?
We know that Rich Swann will challenge Josh Alexander in an epic showdown at No Surrender. But who will be next in line for a golden opportunity at the IMPACT World Title? That question will be answered on the very same night when four of IMPACT’s best collide in a #1 Contenders match. Following a series of qualifying bouts on IMPACT!, Brian Myers, PCO, Steve Maclin and Heath have punched their ticket to Las Vegas! Who has what it takes to earn a coveted IMPACT World Title shot?
At Hard To Kill, Joe Hendry proved that he has it what it takes to go toe-to-toe with the very best, defeating Moose to retain the Digital Media Title. In the weeks following his big victory, Hendry became the target of former Digital Media Champion Matt Cardona after some encouragement from the self-proclaimed “Wrestling God”. But even then, Hendry would go on to triumph over the original champion of the world wide web and send him packing from IMPACT Wrestling. Now an enraged Moose is out to finish the job in a Dot Combat match at No Surrender, as made official by Director of Authority Santino Marella. With no disqualifications, no countouts and a plethora of tech-related weaponry, there’s no telling who will leave Las Vegas as Digital Media Champion!
The Death Dollz have seemingly been unstoppable since becoming Knockouts World Tag Team Champions at Bound For Glory. But recently on IMPACT!, they were haunted by a demon from their past, Father James Mitchell, who unleashed a Hex in the form of Allysin Kay and Marti Belle. Blindsided by the shocking return of two top Knockouts, the Death Dollz found themselves on the receiving end of a beatdown following their victory over Taylor Wilde and Killer Kelly. We can now confirm that Allysin Kay and Marti Belle will challenge the Death Dollz for the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles at No Surrender. Without a doubt, Hex will be their toughest challenge to date and if there’s anyone who can identify a weakness within the Death Dollz, it’s the “Sinister Minister” himself.
The IMPACT Zone was in disbelief when Callihan aligned himself with The Design and shaved his head as part of his initiation. In recent weeks, Callihan has proven that he is willing to do whatever it takes to remain in the good graces of Design leader, Deaner. But when confronted for his actions by IMPACT veteran Frankie Kazarian, Callihan remained silent. Instead, Kazarian was met by the towering powerhouse of The Design, Kon. Not one to back down from a fight, Kazarian laid out the challenge for a singles bout at No Surrender, which has now been made official by IMPACT management!
For the first time ever, Dave LaGreca will host a special edition of Busted Open LIVE from No Surrender. As mandated by Director of Authority Santino Marella, former friends turned enemies, Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer will attempt to settle their differences not by fighting – but by talking it out. As a co-host of both Bully and Dreamer on Busted Open Radio, LaGreca was made the mediator for this unique event. But with tensions between Bully and Dreamer higher than ever, will words be enough to put an end to this bitter rivalry?
The action begins on Countdown to No Surrender streaming LIVE & FREE February 24th at 7:30pm ET on IMPACT Plus and YouTube. Preview the night’s huge event and witness exclusive matchups you won’t see anywhere else!
Over the last several months, Gisele Shaw has played a role in the breakup of several tag teams, leading to the departures of Tasha Steelz, The Influence and Chelsea Green. Now known in the locker room as “The Black Widow” of IMPACT Wrestling, Shaw has taken this opportunity to reclaim the spotlight for herself. But when confronted by Deonna Purrazzo in catering, Shaw was given a taste of her own medicine as “The Virtuosa” doused her with a bowl of chili. On Countdown to No Surrender Purrazzo looks to exterminate “The Black Widow” on behalf of her former tag team partner, Chelsea Green, when they meet in a heated Knockouts bout made official by Director of Authority Santino Marella!
IMPACT Wrestling is home to some of the most athletically-gifted professional wrestlers in the world. Enter Mike Bailey and Jonathan Gresham. With unique styles to call their own, both Bailey and Gresham astonish the IMPACT Zone every time they step into the ring. After coming up short in a hard-fought contest against Eddie Edwards, Gresham bounced back with a pair of victories on IMPACT! and BTI before challenging Bailey to a match at No Surrender. Following his victory over Kenny King in a grueling Pit Fight, Bailey continued his momentum with a singles victory before accepting Gresham’s challenge. Countdown to No Surrender is the battleground for what will certainly be a jaw-dropping collision between “Speedball” and “The Octopus”!
