Wes Lee Turns His Back on the Rascalz, Joe Hendry Defeats Joe Coffey on WWE NXT
In the main event of this week’s WWE NXT, Zachary Wentz and Wes Lee of the Rascalz challenged Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Following a breathtaking encounter, Frazer and Axiom narrowly defeated MSK to retain their titles.
But it was what happened after the match that shocked the wrestling world. Perhaps disappointed by another championship match defeat, Wes Lee would turn his back on his longtime friends and allies, delivering a brutal beatdown to Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel.
Meanwhile, tensions between Joe Hendry and Joe Coffey finally boiled over when the two met in singles competition on this week’s WWE NXT. Hendry would jumpstart the match with a shot of adrenaline, leaping over the top rope to take out the other members of Gallus. When Mark Coffey and Wolfgang tried to re-insert themselves into the match, Hendry outsmarted his adversaries and had them ejected from ringside.
Moments later, Hendry secured an impressive victory with the Standing Ovation to Joe Coffey!
During a post-match interview, Hendry sent a message to the rest of the NXT locker room and said that he isn’t going anywhere! Speaking of what’s next for Hendry, we learned that he will go one-on-one with Wolfgang this Thursday on TNA iMPACT. Will Hendry continue his winning ways against Gallus?
