TNA Wrestling Returns To Tampa For Two Nights Of Live Pro Wrestling, August 2-3, At The Florida State Fairgrounds
Worldwide Viral Sensation Joe Hendry & TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame Member Gail Kim Talk To Tampa Media On Wednesday, July 31
TNA Wrestling makes its long-awaited return to Tampa, Florida on Friday & Saturday, August 2-3, for two nights of action-packed pro wrestling at the Florida State Fairgrounds (Entry: US Hwy 301 N).
Both shows will be filmed for upcoming episodes of the company’s flagship weekly TV show, iMPACT!, which airs at 8pm EST every Thursday night on AXS TV in the U.S., Fight Network in Canada.
To preview the Tampa shows, worldwide viral sensation Joe Hendry and TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame member Gail Kim will be in Tampa on Wednesday, July 31, to talk with the media and more.
TNA Wrestling will bring all the superstars to Tampa, including Nic Nemeth, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Jordynne Grace, Eric Young, Steve Maclin, Ash By Elegance and Moose. Also scheduled to appear at the Tampa shows: Mike Santana, AJ Francis, Josh Alexander, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, Frankie Kazarian, ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey), Jake Something, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, PCO, Xia Brookside and many more.
The upcoming shows in Tampa mark the first TNA shows in Tampa in 11 years.
JOE HENDRY
Since April 2024, Joe Hendry has, arguably, been the most popular pro wrestler in the industry. That’s when the 11-year pro became a viral sensation, thanks to social media, with his theme tune “I Believe In Joe Hendry” was released as a single. It peaked at No. 4 on the UK Singles Downloads Chart and No. 6 on the UK Singles Sales Charts. The song peaked at No. 4 on the Official Big Top 40 Charts. Hendry participated in the 6-person main event at Slammiversary in Montreal. Hendry also has made multiple appearances on WWE’s NXT.
GAIL KIM
Gail Kim is one of the most decorated, accomplished pro wrestlers of all-time. She is a record 7-time Knockouts World Champion who has held the title for a combined record 711 days. She was the first-ever TNA Wrestling Knockouts World Champion and the first female inducted into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame, and, she won the WWE Women’s Championship in her first WWE match. Retired from in-ring action, Gail is now an executive for TNA Wrestling. She is married to celebrity chef Robert Irvine.
