TNA Wrestling presents its spring pay-per-view extravaganza, Rebellion LIVE THIS SATURDAY, April 20th at 8pm ET from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Tickets are on-sale now at Ticketmaster.com.
With Moose leading the charge as World Champion, The System have been running roughshod over TNA Wrestling since their formation at Hard To Kill. But it was on the very same night in Las Vegas that a disruptor by the name of Nic Nemeth arrived on the scene, delivering a superkick to Moose and sending shockwaves throughout the wrestling world. After vanquishing Steve Maclin at Sacrifice, Nemeth set his sights on adding yet another championship milestone to his long list of accolades – but The System got to him first. As Nemeth and Speedball Mountain celebrated a victory, they were jumped by Moose and TNA World Tag Team Champions Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards, who sent a physical message to the “Wanted Man”. We can now confirm that at Rebellion, Nic Nemeth will challenge Moose for the TNA World Championship in a blockbuster first-time-ever showdown.
After Ash By Elegance was unable to compete in the 8-4-1 match due to “cosmetic touchups”, Director of Authority Santino Marella named Australia’s Steph De Lander as her replacement. Competing in a TNA ring for the first time since last summer’s Down Under Tour, De Lander became #1 Contender after her sidekick Matt Cardona delivered Radio Silence to Rosemary. De Lander capitalized off the interference and put Rosemary away with the TKO. We can now confirm that De Lander will challenge Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts World Championship at TNA’s spring pay-per-view extravaganza, Rebellion. Grace has been on a roll since becoming champion at Hard To Kill, defeating the likes of Gisele Shaw, Xia Brookside and Tasha Steelz. But is her dominance destined to continue? Or will De Lander become Knockouts World Champion for the very first time in Vegas?
This past January at Hard To Kill, Hammerstone made a bold statement when he arrived on the scene and took Josh Alexander to his limit in his debut match. But in the end, it was the “Walking Weapon” who stood tall in victory. Two months later at Sacrifice, Hammerstone returned to TNA Wrestling and evened the score in a hard-hitting rematch with Alexander, albeit in controversial fashion. Not only did Hammerstone break the rules with the use of a low blow, but he added insult to injury when he stole Alexander’s signature headgear after the match. Despite taunting Alexander at every turn, Hammerstone seemed disinterested in offering him another match. But things changed when Hammerstone was accused of being scared after refusing to answer Alexander’s open challenge. Hammerstone agreed to a rematch with Alexander but it would be on his terms. That is why on April 20th at Rebellion, Hammerstone and Josh Alexander will face off in a highly-anticipated rubber match to settle their rivalry once and for all. In a shocking development, the match will now be contested under Last Man Standing rules after a wild brawl erupted in the iMPACT! Zone.
Mustafa Ali has successfully ushered in a new era of the X-Division after dethroning Chris Sabin at No Surrender, and defeating him for a second time in his contractual rematch. But as the old saying goes, there’s no rest for the wicked. Recently on iMPACT!, Ali hosted a Rebellion Referendum, where the winner of the 6-man Scramble match would challenge him for the X-Division Championship at TNA’s spring pay-per-view extravaganza. Leon Slater, Chris Bey, Alan Angels, Jason Hotch, Kevin Knight and Jake Something all vied for this coveted opportunity but when the dust settled, it was Something who stood tall in victory. A determined Something vowed to become a champion in 2024 and he has a chance to crush that goal at Rebellion.
Mike Bailey and Trent Seven, now known as Speedball Mountain, have found success in TNA Wrestling’s stacked tag team division. After aligning themselves with Nic Nemeth to fight back against Steve Maclin and the Rascalz, Speedball Mountain were targeted by the reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions, Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards of The System. As the group led by TNA World Champion Moose continues to dominate, Speedball Mountain will have a chance to shake things up when they challenge Myers and Edwards for the TNA World Tag Team Titles at Rebellion. Myers and Edwards dethroned ABC to become the new champions at Sacrifice. Meanwhile, Bailey and Seven are no strangers to singles championship gold, and their innovative offense as a duo could be the key to victory.
Frankie Kazarian turned his back on Eric Young after the two TNA Originals failed to find success as a tag team. Kazarian vowed to stop giving to TNA Wrestling, and to start taking from it instead. Kazarian and Young would attempt to settle the score at No Surrender when they faced off in a high-stakes #1 Contenders match, which was won by Young. An unhinged Kazarian would go on to assault TNA referees, resulting in his two week suspension. But Kazarian would once again make his presence felt when Young challenged Moose for the TNA World Championship at Sacrifice, choking Young out with a cable and costing him the gold in the process. With revenge on his mind, Young challenged Kazarian to a Full Metal Mayhem match, and we can now confirm that it has been made official for Rebellion. With no disqualifications, no count outs, and a plethora of tables, ladders and chairs, the highly-intense rivalry between Frankie Kazarian and Eric Young is about to explode.
The wrestling world watched in disbelief when Rich Swann turned his back on his longtime friend and ally, Joe Hendry, joining forces with the brash and arrogant A.J. Francis in the process. Swann admitted that he had been in a slump as of late and that Francis had helped him “see the light”. In Swann’s mind, his new-attitude will lead him back to his glory days of being TNA World Champion. Known as Fir$t Cla$$, Swann and Francis scored a big victory over ABC in tag team action, but were confronted by Hendry who poked fun at their alliance. Hendry revealed that he will have a chance at retribution when he goes one-on-one with Swann in a Rebellion grudge match. What will happen when former friends collide at TNA’s spring pay-per-view extravaganza?
Who will show up when the lights go out at Rebellion?

The competition in the Knockouts World Tag Team Title picture is more fierce than ever! At No Surrender, Decay was dethroned by MK Ultra. Only two weeks later at Sacrifice, the titles changed hands again as MK Ultra fell to the newly-formed Spitfire. Since losing the titles, Decay has been biding their time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. That time has come as Decay will enact their contractually-obligated rematch clause at Rebellion. In one corner will stand the reigning Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Jody Threat and Dani Luna of Spitfire. In the other will be Havok and Rosemary of Decay. The titles are on the line and anything is possible!
The stars will be out this Saturday in Las Vegas! As revealed on the final iMPACT! before Rebellion, the reigning Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Spitfire, will be accompanied to the ring by legendary punk icon Lars Frederiksen for their title defense against Decay.
Recently on TNA iMPACT!, Laredo Kid challenged Crazzy Steve for the Digital Media Championship. But when Steve tried to tear off the Luchador’s mask, Laredo went into a frenzy and was disqualified by the referee. Rounding out a stacked lineup on the free Countdown to Rebellion show, Crazzy Steve must once again defend his Digital Media Championship against Laredo Kid. Can Laredo keep his emotions in check in order to capture championship gold? Or will the maniacal Steve continue his terrifying reign?
Buckle up for fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping action on the Countdown to Rebellion. It’s a six-man tag team showdown as former TNA World Tag Team Champions ABC team up with the rising star from the UK, Leon Slater. They will face off against another pair of former TNA World Tag Team Champions in the Rascalz and their longtime ally, Myron Reed!
