TNA Wrestling returns to San Antonio, Texas, for two nights of action-packed pro wrestling at the Boeing Center at Tech Port.

 

The TNA live events in San Antonio are Thursday & Friday, September 24–25, to be broadcast as episodes of Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC and AMC+ in the U.S., Sportsnet 360 in Canada and TNA+ worldwide. The September 24 show will air LIVE on AMC.

 

TNA Wrestling was last in San Antonio in January 2025.

AJ FRANCIS MEDIA TOUR

 

To preview the TNA Wrestling shows in San Antonio, TNA star & former NFL player AJ Francis will be in San Antonio on September 15–16 for a media tour, making multiple appearances around the city.

 

Francis played football at the University Maryland, then was signed by the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. His pro football career also included time with the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins, among others.

 

He has made a huge name in TNA Wrestling, leaving bruised bodies and busted egos along the way, including incredible feuds and matches against Joe Hendry, Elijah, KC Navarro and Rich Swann. Francis is a former TNA Digital Media Champion and two-time Cheez-It Champion with its MVP Title.

To celebrate TNA Wrestling’s return to San Antonio, here are five famous TNA matches that took place in Texas:

 

  1. On March 10, 2013, at TNA Lockdown at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Bully Ray defeated Jeff Hardy in a Steel Cage match to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, shockingly revealing himself as the leader of the Aces & Eights faction.

 

  1. On June 10, 2012, at TNA Slammiversary X at the College Park Center in Arlington, Bobby Roode defeated Sting to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship on a historic night that also saw Sting announced as the first-ever TNA Hall of Fame inductee.

 

  1. On January 15, 2026, TNA’s Thursday Night iMPACT! made its debut on AMC, live from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland. The broadcast featured Mike Santana defeating Frankie Kazarian to become TNA World Champion, launching a new era for TNA’s flagship weekly television show.

 

  1. On January 8, 2022, at Hard To Kill at The Factory in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Mickie James defeated Deonna Purrazzo in a grueling Texas Deathmatch to retain the Knockouts World Championship.

 

  1. On January 12, 2020, at Hard To Kill at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Tessa Blanchard defeated Sami Callihan to win the iMPACT World Championship, becoming the first woman in history to do so.
