TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC is on the air from the CAA Centre, in Brampton, Ontario, CAN, and last week TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth sent a message to Leon Slater. How will both men navigate the path to Bound for Glory? Tonight kicks off with Matt Hardy.

 

 

Last week, Jeff Hardy was taken away by ambulance, and Matt Hardy hits the iMPACT! Zone looking for answers. He reflects on Lockdown, and makes no excuses. They’re already making plans to cash in the rematch clause. Jeff Hardy was left with severe injuries, and Matt Hardy believes it was TNA Tag Team Champions The Nemeths that attacked his brother.

 

 

TNA World Tag Team Champions The Nemeths join Matt Hardy in the ring, and swear they did not take out Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy attacks The Nemeth Brothers, and Ryan and Nic Nemeth retaliate. They all trade blows until Security breaks it up. 

 

 

Gia Miller is with Trey Miguel before his match against Jason Hotch later this evening for the #1 Contender Match for the TNA International Championship. Trey respects Hotch, and leaves a warning to TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali.

Elayna Black reflects on Lockdown, and The Elegance Brand interrupts her. They’re ready to celebrate M by Elegance's TNA Knockouts Television Championship victory. Elayna Black challenges M by Elegance, and M refuses. M offers for Heather by Elegance to fight her instead.

 

 

 

AJ Francis acc. by Expressions vs. Brent Oakley - Singles Match

 

The bell rings, and Oakley instantly attacks Francis. He rains down blows, and Francis answers by slamming him into the turnbuckle. He charges at Oakley in the corner, and Oakley avoids him. Oakley sets up Francis on the ropes, and charges at him, and drops him to the canvas. He slides to the outside, and steals Expressions’ hat. As Brent Oakley tries to get back into the ring AJ Francis slams into him with TFL to secure the pinfall.

AJ Francis challenges Avery Styles for his first match in TNA Wrestling.

 

 

Director of Authority Santino Marella joins them ringside, and calls out Avery Styles. He offers Avery Styles for his first official match next week, but Frankie Kazarian interrupts him. Kazarian refuses to let it happen.

 

 

Director of Operations Daria Rae joins TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside, and Zoey Serrano before their match, and is confident they will beat Indi Hartwell and Harley Hudson.

Harley Hudson and Indi Hartwell vs. TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside and Zoey Serrano - Tag Team Match

 

 

Daria Rae joins Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary for this match.

 

Xia Brookside and Indi Hartwell start this match off, but immediately tags in Zoey Serrano. Hartwell drops Zoey to the canvas twice, and Serrano answers with a Superkick. Zoey sends Hartwell into the turnbuckles, charges at her, and Hartwell counters with an Elbow-Strike. Hartwell flattens Serrano against the edge of the apron. 

 

Xia Brookside gets in Serrano’s face, and Zoey strikes one of the fans.

 

 

 Zoey slides back into the ring, and tags in Brookside. Hartwell slams Brookside into the turnbuckles, tags in Hudson, and Hudson flips Brookside to the canvas. She Legdrops onto Brookside, goes for a cover, and Brookside kicks out at two. She Hip Attacks Brookside in the corner, trips her up from the outside, and sets up for a Legdrop on the edge of the apron.

 

Serrano pulls Brookside out of the way, and Hudson goes tailbone-first into the edge of the apron. Xia sends Hudson to the outside, and Serrano attacks her behind the referee’s back. She rolls Hudson back into the ring, Brookside goes for a cover, and Hudson kicks out at two. She slams Hudson head-first into the canvas twice, and face-first into the top turnbuckle. Brookside tags in Serrano, and Serrano German Suplexes Hudson to the canvas. 

 

She tags in Brookside, she goes for a cover, and Hudson kicks out. Brookside locks up Hudson in a submission hold. Xia tags in Serrano, Hudson avoids Serrano, and Zoey wipes out Brookside.

 

 

She prevents a tag, and Hudson avoids Serrano with a Monkey Flip to tag in Hartwell. Hartwell Uppercuts Serrano, connects a boot to the face, goes for a cover, and she kicks out at two. Serrano sets up for a Knee-Strike, Hartwell avoids it, and slams her down with Spinebuster.

 

 

 Hartwell sets up for a cover, and Xia Brookside breaks it up. Xia drops Hartwell with Double Knees, and Hudson flattens Brookside. Serrano Superkicks Hudson, and all four Knockouts go down in the center of the ring. They trade blows in the center of the ring, Xia dumps Hudson to the outside, and Serrano German Suplexes Hartwell.

 

She slams into Hartwell with a Knee-Strike, tags in Brookside, and she goes for a cover. Hartwell kicks out, and Serrano argues with Brookside. Hartwell Uppercuts Brookside, Hudson levels Serrano on the outside, and Hartwell secures the pinfall with a Butterfly Neck-Lock Submission.

KC Navarro vs. Joe Alonzo - TNA X-Division Championship Qualifiers Match at Bound for Glory

Joe Alonzo addresses the crowd before the match, to celebrate tonight as his TNA iMPACT! Debut.

 

 

Alanzo slams Navarro to the canvas, and Navarro answers by lighting up Alonzo. He charges at Navarro, Alonzo goes through the ropes, and Navarro levels him on the outside.

 

 

He rolls Alonzo back into the ring, sets up for Blessing in Disguise, and Alonzo avoids it. Navarro connects a boot to the face of Alonzo, and Alonzo sends Navarro hard on the outside. Alanzo slams down Navarro with a Belly-to-Back Suplex off the edge of the apron. 

 

 

He rolls Navarro into the ring, goes for a cover, and Navarro kicks out at two. He Bodyslams Navarro, and Navarro answers with a chop. Alonzo shuts down Navarro with a boot to the face, he drives down Navarro, and goes for a cover. Navarro kicks out at two, and  Alanzo drives a knee into Navarro’s spine before he locks him in a Submission Hold. He lands multiple blows onto Navarro, and Navarro meets Alonzo in the center of the ring. 

 

Navarro slams into Alonzo, Dropkicks him, and slams into Alonzo in the corner. He drives down Alonzo with a Satellite DDT, goes for a cover, and Alonzo kicks out at two.

 

 

He rolls outside the ropes, and drives Navarro’s throat into the top rope. He soars off the second rope, slams into Navarro with Most Dope, goes for a cover, and Navarro kicks out at two. Alonzo tries to hook Navarro, he prevents it with an Enzuigiri, and connects the 305. He sets up for Blessing in Disguise, Alonzo avoids it, and shoves the referee into Navarro's path. Navarro counters Alonzo, rolls him up, and Alonzo kicks out at two. Navarro slams down Alonzo with Blessing in Disguise and secures the pinfall.

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Allie and Kiera Hogan vs. Shazza Mckenzie and Vipress  - TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship Open Challenge

 

 

Allie and Shazza start this match off. Allie lands multiple strikes, drives her into the canvas, and lands multiple blows. She tags in Kiera, sends her into Shazza, and slams into Shazza herself. Kiera drives a boot into Shazza, goes for a cover, and she kicks out. Kiera trips up Shazza, and sends her throat-first into the ropes. She continues with a Step-up Legdrop, goes for a cover, and Shazza kicks out at two. 

 

Shazza distracts the referee, and Vipress connects a boot to Kiera behind the referee’s back. Shazza tags in Vipress, and Vipress slams into her. She Dropkicks Kiera, goes for a cover, and Kiera kicks out at two. She rains down blows, sends Hogan face-first into the top turnbuckle, and tags in Shazza. Shazza drives multiple Elbow-Strikes into Hogan, and locks her in a Chokehold. 

 

Kiera breaks free, and tags are made. Allie meets Vipress in the ring, and wipes her out. She drives a Knee into Vipress, and sends Vipress to The Upside Down. Mckenzie tries to attack Allie from behind, Hogan prevents it by sending  her to the outside. Allie drops Vipress with Code Breaker, Kiera drives her down with Face the Music, and Allie goes for a cover to secure the pinfall.

Indi Hartwell interrupts Daria Rae backstage, and asks for her shot at the TNA Knockouts World Championship after pinning Xia Brookside. Daria Rae announces that Gabby Forza is the next in line.

Vincent calls out to BDE after the bell rings, and wants to help BDE prove he belongs here. Tonight The Righteous plan to give it to him, and he commands Dutch to lay down. He tells BDE to pin him, and BDE Elbowdrops Dutch instead. 

 

 

He sets up for a Splash, Dutch catches him midair, and drives him down to the canvas. Dutch whips BDE into the turnbuckles, and charges into him. He slams down BDE, and drives multiple strikes into him. BDE lands multiple blows, a Superkick, and sets up for a Clip Cutter. Dutch catches him, and drives him down with Death Walks to secure the pinfall.

Rich Swann enters the ring to check on BDE, and Vincent attacks Rich Swann from behind. Dutch hoists BDE over his shoulder, and The Righteous walk away with him. 

 

 

Mila Moore takes a call from TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali, and John Skyler tries to address her. Mila Moore takes another phone call from Ali, and walks away.

 

 

 

Jason Hotch vs. Trey Miguel - #1 Contenders Match for the TNA International Championship

 

 

The bell rings, and they shake hands as a sign of respect.

 

 

Trey locks Hotch in a Submission Hold, Hotch reverses out of it, and drops Miguel to the canvas. Hotch locks Miguel in an Arm Lock Submission Hold, and Miguel reverses out of it, and rolls Hotch to the canvas. Hotch takes Miguel off his feet, and Miguel rolls up Hotch for a one count. They match momentum, and both go for a Dropkick.

 

 

Miguel lands a Back Elbow-Strike, and soars off the ropes to flip Hotch to the canvas. Hotch lands two back-to-back Elbow Strikes, and drives a boot into the face of Miguel. Miguel sends Hotch into the ropes, charges at Hotch, and he avoids Miguel. Trey connects a shot to Hotch’s left arm, and Dropkicks it. He sends Hotch to the outside, slides to the outside, and Hotch soars over the ropes to level Miguel on the outside.

 

 

Miguel connects a kick off the apron, and a big Right Hook. Hotch lands a strike of his own, and slams Miguel head-first off the edge of the apron. Hotch sends Miguel back into the ring, Miguel tries to counter, and Hotch connects a Knee-Strike. He climbs to the top turnbuckle for a Frog Splash, and Miguel avoids it.

 

Miguel slams Hotch to the canvas, locks him in a Submission Hold, and goes for a cover. Hotch kicks out at two, Trey connects a Back Elbow-Strike, and a Single-Legged Dropkick. He goes for another cover, and Hotch kicks out at two. Hotch dumps Miguel off of the ropes, goes for a cover, and Miguel kicks out at two. Miguel locks Hotch in another Chokehold, Hotch breaks free, and connects a massive boot to the face of Miguel. He goes for a cover, and Miguel kicks out at one.

Hotch avoids Miguel in the corner, flattens him to the canvas, rolls him up, and Double Stomps on Miguel’s mid-section. Hotch connects an Enzuigiri through the ropes, drives down Miguel with a Rolling Neckbreaker, goes for a cover, and Miguel kicks out at two.

 

 

Miguel lands multiple kicks, Double Stomps his neck, goes for a cover, and Hotch kicks out at two. Miguel climbs to the top turnbuckle, sets up for Meteora, and Hotch avoids it. He counters with a boot to the jaw of Miguel, sets up for a Double Stomp from the top turnbuckle, and Trey avoids it. He connects a secondary Double Stomp up close, goes for a cover, and Miguel kicks out at two.

 

 

Miguel Bell Claps Hotch, sets up for a Sunset Flip Bomb, and Hotch counters by landing on his feet. Hotch flips Miguel with Poisonrana, Miguel answers with a Poisonrana of his own, and Hotch drives him down with a Blue Thunderbomb. He goes for a cover, and Miguel kicks out at two.

 

They trade blows in the center of the ring, Trey answers with a Step-up Enzuigiri, and match each other's attacks. Both men go down in the center of the ring. They both rally, and trade blows in the center of the ring. Special Agent 0 flattens them from behind. The main event match is over via Disqualification. 

 

 

Jason Hotch vs. Trey Miguel - #1 Contenders Match for the TNA International Championship - Disqualification

 

Special Agent 0 continues to attack Trey Miguel and Jason Hotch after the match.

 

Matt Hardy and TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth are arguing backstage, and Nic Nemeth thinks Matt Hardy took out Ryan Nemeth backstage earlier this evening. Santino Marella breaks it up, and proposes a No Disqualifications match next week.
