TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC is on the air from the National Western Center, Denver, CO, tomorrow marks the 24-year anniversary of TNA Wrestling's very first broadcast, and the Road to Slammiversary continues.

 

 

Tonight, in the main event The Hardys and Moose team up to take on The System, but first Xia Brookside kicks off Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC.

 

 

Xia Brookside hits the iMPACT! zone to address her upcoming match at Slammiversary against her former best friend. Her favorite part was the look on Léi Yǐng Lee’s face when she betrayed her. She is confident that she is going to walk away with the TNA Knockouts World Championship at Slammiversary. 

 

TNA Knockouts World Champion Léi Yǐng Lee interrupts. She sees Xia for who she really is, and she doesn’t want to wait until Slammiversary. Lee attacks Brookside, and security floods the ring to break it up. Lee fights through security, and Brookside uses it to her advantage. Brookside pulls security into Lee’s path to escape.

 

 

Gia Miller is with TNA World Champion Mike Santana about his match later tonight with KC Navarro and Nic Nemeth by his side, as they face off against TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali, and The Great Hands. Santana is ready to stand united with Navarro and Nemeth but is prepared for anything.

The TNA International Championship Open Challenge will go down at Slammiversary, Ali’s challenger is yet to be announced.

 

 

TNA World Champion Mike Santana, KC Navarro, and Nic Nemeth vs. TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali and The Great Hands acc. by Tasha Steelz and Special Agent 0 - 6-Man Tag Team Match


If Nic Nemeth attacks Santana during this match he will be stripped of his Call Your Shot trophy, and if Mike Santana attacks Nemeth during he will be stripped of the TNA World Champion title.

 

Nic Nemeth and John Skyler start this match off. Nemeth tags in Navarro instead of Santana, and they start arguing. Navarro goes to break it up, and Order 4 seize the opportunity to attack.

 

 

They drop all three of their opponents, Ali charges at Navarro, and Navarro sends him toppling over the top rope. Mike Santana catches Jason Hotch and tosses him over the top rope to wipe out Order 4 on the outside. 

 

Outside of the ring, Nemeth slams Ali head-first into the edge of the apron. KC Navarro drops Skyler inside the ring, goes for a cover, and Skyler kicks out. Order 4 drives down Navarro with a Double Rolling Neckbreaker. Tasha Steelz attacks Navarro from the outside behind the referee’s back. She tries to interfere again, but the referee catches it and ejects them from ringside. 

 

Navarro rolls up Ali for a surprise pin attempt, and Ali kicks out. Tags are made, and The Great Hands combo onto Navarro. Skyler goes for a cover, and Navarro kicks out. Order 4 performs a Triple Powerbomb onto Navarro, Ali goes for a cover, and he kicks out at two. Navarro counters Ali with a Cutter. Skyler prevents the tag onto Nemeth, and Navarro gets a tag onto Santana. Santana drops Hotch inside the ring, and dives through the ropes to take out the rest of Order 4. 

 

Santana calls for Spin the Block, and Nemeth forces a tag. He drives down Hotch with Dangerzone, goes for a cover, and Hotch kicks out. Order 4 attacks them during the chaos, and The Great Hands drop Nemeth for a pin attempt. KC Navarro breaks it up, sends Ali to the outside, and Navarro levels him on the outside. 

The Great Hands try to take out Nemeth, and Mike Santana prevents it. Santana drops The Great Hands with a Double Rolling Buck 50, and Nemeth follows with a Double Dangerzone. They both go for a cover and secure the pinfalls.

After the match KC Navarro tries to keep the peace between them, and Ryan Nemeth attacks Santana from behind. Navarro and Ryan start to argue; Santana goes to attack Ryan but takes out KC instead. Nic Nemeth drops Santana with a Superkick.

Backstage Nic Nemeth is with KC Navarro after Santana took him out unintentionally. Ryan Nemeth interrupts, and chaos erupts. Santana apologizes for attacking Navarro, and Navarro wants Santana to get his head in the game. 

 

 

Frankie Kazarian hits the iMPACT! zone for The King’s Speech. 

He introduces his guests for this evening Leon Slater, and TNA X-Division Champion Cedric Alexander before Ultimate X at Slammiversary. 

 

Kazarian wants to know how Slater feels, and Cedric interrupts him. 

Slater could have made excuses, but he admits that Alexander beat him. Cedric bathes in his victory that ripped away Slater’s dreams. 

 

They both attack each other, and Frankie Kazarian breaks it up. Kazarian announces that he is one of the contestants at Ultimate X.

 

 

TNA Injury Report Presented by Zoneify

  • KC Navarro’s left knee is currently in evaluation. 

  • Léi Yǐng Lee suffered a chipped tooth during the altercation against Xia Brookside earlier tonight and remains medically cleared.

  • After their brutal Wicked Gardens Match, The Hardys have been cleared for their main event later tonight.

Inside the Music features AJ Francis. He reflects on how Elijah hurt him by not wanting to work with him. He looked up Elijah’s catalog, and now owns the rights to it.

 

 

 

Eric Young joins Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary for this match.

Ricky Sosa vs. Dak Draper - Singles Match

 

 

Draper locks Sosa in a Chokehold and slams him to the canvas. Ricky Sosa answers with a Double Stomp onto his back. He dives off the top rope, goes for a cover, and Draper kicks out at two. Draper answers with multiple blows, and Sosa counters with a Hip Toss into a Dropkick. Sosa dives over the top ropes and wipes out Dak Draper. 

 

Back inside the ring, Dak lands multiple blows, and Suplexes him. Draper tries to set up Sosa, and he counters out with multiple chops. Draper slams down Sosa, goes for a cover, and Sosa kicks out at two. Sosa fires back with a boot to the face, a German Suplex, and an Upper Cut. He climbs to the top rope, and Dropkicks Draper. He drives Draper down with Blue Thunderbang and secures the pinfall.

The Elegance Brand knock on Director of Operations Daria Rae’s office door and ask if Mr. Elegance can be in the Ultimate X match. Mr. Elegance has officially been added to the Ultimate X Roster.

Elayna Black vs. Indi Hartwell - Singles Match

 

Mara Sadé joins Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary for this match. 

 

Indi Hartwell sends Elayna into the turnbuckle, drops her with a boot, and goes for a cover. Elyana kicks out, and Hartwell lands multiple stomps to her mid-section. Hartwell charges at her, and Elayna avoids her, and connects a boot to Hartwell. She goes for a cover, and Hartwell kicks out. Elayna slams her face-first into the canvas, and stomps on Hartwell’s back. She goes for a cover, and Hartwell kicks out. 

 

Hartwell breaks out of a chokehold, and Black answers by flattening her to the canvas. She goes for a cover, and Hartwell kicks out again. Hartwell drives down Black with Spinebuster, goes for a cover, and Black kicks out. The Elegance Brand comes ringside to distract Hartwell, and Elayna attacks Hartwell from behind. 

 

Mara Sadé prevents Ash by Elegance from getting into the ring, and Indi Hartwell secures the pinfall with a Backslide.

Indi Hartwell Def. Elayna Black - Singles Match

 

Chaos erupts inside the ring, and all of the knockouts trade blows. Sadé sends Black to the outside, and Ash by Elegance escapes up the ramp. 

 

 

Director of Authority Santino Marella is joined by Fabian Aichner, and asks to be part of Ultimate X. Santino grants him that shot, and Nic Nemeth asks Santino to give KC Navarro a shot. 

 

 

Slammiversary Ultimate X field has been set. Cedric Alexander will defend his title against Leon Slater, Mr. Elegance, Fabian Aichner, Frankie Kazarian, and KC Navarro.

 

Gia Miller is backstage before The Hardys upcoming match, but Santana interrupts. He issues a challenge to Nic Nemeth to meet him in the ring. 

 

 

 

The System (TNA World Tag Team Champions Brian Myers and Bear Bronson, and Eddie Edwards) acc. by Alisha Edwards vs. The “Broken” Hardys and Moose - 6-Man Tag Team Match

 

 

The Main event is officially underway. Matt Hardy and Brian Myers start this match off. Matt Hardy rains down blows onto Myers left arm and Deletes him. The Hardys drop Brian Myers, go for a cover, and Myers kicks out. They Suplex Bronson, and connect Poetry in Motion. Eddie Edwards tries to get involved, and Moose plays defense. 

 

Back inside the ring, Jeff Hardy lands multiple blows onto Brian Myers, and tags in Matt Hardy. Matt climbs the turnbuckle, and Elbowdrops his left arm. Moose follows with an Elbowdrop to the same arm, takes a shot at Edwards, and tags Matt Hardy back in. The Hardys land a classic combination onto Myers through the ropes. Jeff goes for a cover, and Myers kicks out at two. He rains down blows on Jeff Hardy, and Alisha Edwards gets involved. 

 

The referee is distracted by Eddie Edwards, and The System continues to attack Jeff Hardy.
