TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC is on the air from the Upstate Medical University Arena in Syracuse, NY after the fallout from Rebellion. A night of betrayal, new champions crowned, and rivalries intensifying.

 

We kick the night off with Nic Nemeth joining Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary.

AJ Francis vs. KC Navarro - Singles Match


AJ Francis starts the match off and slams him into the canvas. Francis sets up for a Down Payment and KC Navarro counters out. He charges at Navarro and topples over the top rope. Navarro dives through the ropes, Francis catches him, and bounces him face-first off the apron. He continues his momentum, hoists up Navarro, and drives him into the steel post. 

Back in the ring, AJ Francis shoves KC Navarro into the turnbuckle. Navarro sets up for a Crossbody, AJ Francis catches him, hoists him to his shoulders, and Navarro counters out. He goes for an Olympic Bodyslam, AJ Francis prevents it, lifts up Navarro, and slams him into the canvas. Francis charges into him, and drives Tennessee Whiskey into Navarro’s jaw. 


Navarro fires back with a Jawbreaker and follows with a Dropkick. He continues and flattens Francis with a Halo DDT. Navarro continues with back-to-back Dropkicks to his mid-section and back. Navarro hoists him up to the second rope, and crashes down with a Super Olympic Slam. He goes for a cover, and Francis kicks out at two.


Navarro climbs to the top turnbuckle, dives toward Francis, and he drops Navarro with TFL. AJ Francis sets up for Down Payment, and Navarro counters rolling up AJ Francis and secures the pinfall.

EC3 is backstage ready to finish what he started. 

 


The System, joined by Alisha Edwards, hits the iMPACT! zone to address what’s next after Rebellion. Brian Myers and Bear Bronson celebrate that they are the new TNA World Tag Team Champions. Eddie Edwards blames Moose for his loss at Rebellion. Alisha Edwards continues to show her true colors on her betrayal to Moose. Cedric Alexander swears Leon Slater cheated and is still owed a title shot. 


Leon Slater answers Cedric Alexander and swears he won fair and square. He is ready to be the longest reigning TNA X-Division Champion of all time. Moose joins the iMPACT! zone as well. Moose calls out The System for making excuses. Leon Slater challenges Cedric Alexander and Eddie Edwards to take on himself and Moose. Director of Operation Daria Rae denies Leon Slater the chance to fight, but then announces Leon Slater and Moose will face off against all of The System later tonight.


Elijah joins Daria Rae and requests a rematch against Frankie Kazarian. She calls Kazarian, and he is not interested.


 

Jada Stone vs. Tasha Steelz acc. by Order 4 - Singles Match

Before the match is underway TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali announces the TNA International Championship open challenge.


Stone attacks Steelz as she enters the ring, the bell rings, and the match is officially underway. Outside of the ring Stone drops Tasha Steelz, and Steelz sends her into the steel post. Back in the ring, Tasha Steelz Suplexes her, goes for the cover, and Stone kicks out at two. She tosses Stone neck-first into the rope. Stone rolls her up, Steelz kicks out, and flattens her with a Dropkick. Steelz connects back-to-back Stomps to her mid-section in the corner.

Stone fires back with multiple strikes into back-to-back Clotheslines. She flattens Steelz with a Slingblade. Stone crashes into Steelz with Double Knees from the corner, climbs to the top rope, and drops down with a Split-Legged Moonsault. Steelz answers with a Jawbreaker into a Neckbreaker, she goes for a pin attempt, and Stone kickouts at two.

Stone goes for a Back Handspring, Steelz catches her, and flattens her with a German Suplex. Stone fires back with a DDT off of the ropes. Stone flattens her with Northern Lights Suplex, and sends her face-first into the canvas. She climbs to the top rope to drop down, Steelz interferes, catches her, and drops her to the canvas. Stone is sent to the outside and the referee ejects Order 4 from ringside. Stone Superkicks her, and takes Steelz out with the Spark Stunner to secure the pinfall.

In the Undead Realm, Rosemary finds Joseph. Tessa Blanchard attacks members of the Undead Realm trying to find her way out…

 

Nic Nemeth joins KC Navarro backstage after his victory against AJ Francis. Ryan Nemeth interrupts, along with The System. Nemeth is ready any time, any place to go head-to-head with Bear Bronson. 




TNA World Champion Mike Santana is ready to take over the iMPACT! zone after retaining his title at Rebellion.  Rebellion went exactly as he expected, and he is still standing as the TNA World Champion. He’s ready to hand out some opportunities of his own, and issues a challenge to Rich Swann. Rich Swann shares a mutual respect for TNA World Champion Mike Santana. He accepts the challenge and is ready to give all of his heart and soul to it. Mike Santana leaves the match in her hands. 

 

The TNA Injury Report Presented by BIOFLEX

  • Trey Miguel received a laceration on his right knee during his rebellion and is currently out. 

  • Matt and Jeff Hardy are currently out of in-ring competition due to significant wear. 

  • Indi Hartwell is fully cleared, but due to her suspension she still remains ineligible for in ring action.

  • EC3 has been 100% cleared for in-ring competition against Eric Young later tonight

 

 

Léi Yǐng Lee reflects on her journey in wrestling, and her tag team journey with Xia Brookside. She not only lost her chance to win the title back, but she also lost her best friend. 


Xia Brookside is with Gia Miller, who questions Brookside as to why she did it. Brookside just walks away.




EC3 vs. Eric Young - Singles Match

Eric Young attacks EC3 from behind on his entrance. The bell rings, and both men are inside the ring. He continues to bombard EC3 with multiple strikes and blows.


EC3 breaks out of a chokehold, and drops Young onto the canvas. EC3 charges at Eric Young, and he sends both the referee and Eric Young to the outside. This match has officially been ruled a no contest. EC3 drags a steel chair from under the ring and swings it at Young. He avoids it and instead traps EC3 with a chair around his neck. Young slams him into the steel steps with the chair wrapped around his neck.


Security and the referees are trying to break it up, and Eric Young tries to attack security too. He walks up the ramp and spoils EC3’s return to TNA Wrestling. 



Rosemary is still in the Undead Realm and is face-to-face with Frank. Mara Sadé accompanies Allie on her journey back to the surface. Tessa Blanchard demands a way out and launches an attack on Rosemary. Mara Sadé and Allie find Rosemary and free her.

They roll Rosemary into the ring, and as they surround her, Allie makes her resurrection known. She charges at Blanchard, and takes out all three of them.


The Hardys address The Righteous, and Matt Hardy challenges Dutch to face him in the ring next week on TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC. 


Leon Slater and Moose vs. The System acc. by Alisha Edwards - 2-on-4 Match

 

The bell rings and this match is officially underway. Slater tags Moose and he knocks The System off the ring. Moose dives over the ropes, and levels Bear Bronson. Brian Myers charges at Moose to Spear him, but connects onto Bear Bronson instead. Moose catches Cedric and tosses him into The System. Eddie Edwards attacks Moose and Slater flies over the top rope and flattens The System.


Moose spears Cedric and goes for the cover, but Myers breaks it up. Edwards blasts Moose with the Boston Knee Party, creating space for The System. Moose charges at Edwards, but he avoids it and drags Moose to his corner. Moose tags in Slater, who takes on Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards. Slater slams into Bear Bronson and Brian Myers with a Handspring Double Back Elbow, then crashes into Eddie Edwards with a Crossbody.

Edwards drives down Slater with Blue Thunderbomb, Myers crashes down with an Elbowdrop, and Alexander crushes him with a Frogsplash. They go for a cover, and Moose breaks it up. Alexander sets up for a Lumbar Check, but Slater avoids it. Myers and Bronson charge at him, but Slater takes them out. Cedric goes for another Lumbar Check, but Slater counters and rolls him up. Cedric rolls through, drives him down with a Lumbar Check, and secures the pinfall.
