TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC is on the air LIVE from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, TX, as we continue our countdown to Bound for Glory. Tonight Leon Slater kicks off iMPACT! ahead of his biggest opportunity at Bound for Glory in three weeks. 

 

 

Slater is doing better after facing off against Ryan Nemeth last week, and TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth attacked him after this match. Leon Slater is confident he can beat Nic Nemeth, and is ready to go right now. He calls out Nic Nemeth, and he joins Slater in the ring. Nic Nemeth is confident that Ryan Nemeth is going to be the next TNA X-Division Champion. 

 

 

Ryan Nemeth appears behind Leon Slater, but he saw it coming. He knocks Ryan Nemeth out of the ring, and attacks Nic Nemeth. Security rushes to the ring to separate them, and they fight through security to continue attacking each other. More security rushes to the ring, and Director of Authority Santino Marella interrupts to break it up. Santino Marella forbids either of them to lay a single finger on each other, if Nic Nemeth attacks Slater he will be stripped of the TNA World Championship, and if Slater attacks Nic Nemeth he will lose his title shot. 

 

 

Matt Hardy is backstage to speak out about him being attacked last week. He realized there was two attackers, and now Jeff Hardy returns. Jeff Hardy will never forget, and is ready for revenge. Matt Hardy is tired of the games, and demand that the attackers show themselves when they hit the ring later this evening. 

 

 

The System hits the ramp and have their minds on Bound for Glory. Eddie Edwards is confident going into his match against Elijah later this evening. Cedric Alexander looks to regain the TNA X-Division Championship. Bear Bronson is ready for the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound for Glory. 

 

Indi Hartwell interrupts Director of Operations Daria Rae, and Daria Rae slaps Hartwell. Santino Marella recorded it, and is ready to show it to the board.

 

 

TNA World Tag Team Champion Ryan Nemeth vs. KJ Orso - TNA X-Division Qualifiers Match

 

 

The bell rings and Ryan Nemeth shoves KJ into the corner. He flips Orso to the canvas, and Orso flips Ryan to the canvas before he connects a swift kick to his arm. He sends Nemeth into the corner, and crashes into him. He flips Nemeth to the canvas, goes for a cover, and Nemeth kicks out at one. Ryan Nemeth sends Orso to the outside, and drives him down with a Neckbreaker on the outside of the ring. 

 

 

He rolls Orso back into the ring, goes for a cover, and Orso kicks out at two. Nemeth drives an elbow into Orso's shoulder, and flattens him  head-first into the canvas. Ryan sends Orso across the ring, slams into him, and drops him to the canvas for a cover. He rains down blows into Orso, and locks him into a Chokehold. 

 

Orso breaks out, and drives Ryan Nemeth into the canvas. He Dropkicks Nemeth's right arm, and Moonsaults off the ropes to flatten him to the canvas. He drives down Ryan with Orso Driver, goes for a cover, and Nemeth kicks out at two.

 

 

Nemeth backs Orso into the corner, drops him with a DDT, and goes for a Neckbreaker. Orso counters out, Moonsaults off the ropes, and Locks Ryan Nemeth in the Orso Clutch. Ryan counters with a roll up pin attempt,  Ryan attacks Orso from behind, and sends him into the turnbuckles. He slams him down with Hollywood Ending and secures the pinfall.

The Elegance Brand hits the ramp ahead of the #1 Contender for the TNA Knockouts Television Championship. They are confident M will remain the TNA Knockouts Television Champion.

TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali asks John Skyler who came up with the idea for his first match back being a Triple Threat Match for the TNA International Championship. He calls of Mila Moore for making the match, and John Skyler defends her.

The Righteous vs. BDE and Rich Swann - Tornado Tag Team Match

 

 

BDE and Rich Swann rush to the ring and The Righteous immediately swing at them. Dutch slams down Rich Swann with Death Walks, and Vincent slams down BDE. He goes for a cover, and BDE kicks out at two. Rich Swann sends Dutch to the outside, and connects a boot onto Vincent. Swann and Vincent meet at the top rope, and Swann bites him. He Moonsaults Dutch on the outside, and back inside the ring BDE and Rich Swann land a combination onto Vincent. 

 

Rich Swann and BDE slide steel chairs into the ring, and BDE pulls out a controller to control Rich Swann. Rich Swann slams a chair into the spine of Dutch, and Swann soars over the ropes for a Splash onto Vincent. He goes for a cover, and Vincent kicks out at two. 

 


Dutch and BDE fight their way up the ramp, and Dutch drives him down off neck-first off his knee. Vincent goes for a cover onto Rich Swann, and Swann kicks out at two. Vincent sends Rich Swann face-first into the steel post, Dutch connects a big right hook, and Dutch sends BDE into the steel steps. 

 

Dutch charges at BDE, he avoids Dutch, goes for a cover, and Dutch kicks out at two. Back inside the ring, Vincent and Swann trade blows, and Vincent sends Swann into the steel chair with a Drop Toe Hold.  Rich Swann sets up three chairs in the ring, and slams Vincent head-first into one of them. They slug it out on the chairs trading blows, and Rich Swann connects a boot to the face of Vincent.

 

They climb onto the chairs, continue to trade blows, and Rich Swann sets up for a German Suplex. Vincent counters with multiple Headbutts, and sends Rich Swann head-first into the steel chairs. He goes for a cover, and Swann kicks out at two. Swann connects a Windmill kick, goes for a cover, and Vincent kicks out. 

 

Dutch drives down Swann with a Powerbomb, and BDE makes his way back into the ring. Dutch charges at them in the corner, and goes face-first into a steel chair. BDE and Rich Swann trade Superkicks onto Dutch, and slam him down with a Double Cutter. BDE and Rich Swann drag a table from under the ring, set it up, and work together to set up to drop Dutch. Vincent breaks it up, sends Swann face-first into the steel post, and BDE drops Vincent with a Cutter.

 

He soars over the ropes and Dutch catches BDE. Dutch charges at BDE, and takes out Rich Swann instead. Back inside the ring BDE drops Vincent with Double Knees, slams him to the canvas with a Clip Cutter, and climbs to the top rope. He crushes Vincent with a Splash, goes for a cover, and Dutch pulls him out of the ring. The Righteous drive down BDE with Orange Sunset and secure the pinfall. 

 

The Righteous Def. BDE and Rich Swann - Tornado Tag Team Match

 

After the match, they set up a steel chair around BDE and slams another chair into him. 

 

 

 

Frankie Kazarian is with Avery Styles backstage to announce he got his debut at Bound for Glory. He will be part of the Call Your Shot Gauntlet.

  • Multiple members of security are being evaluated after Leon Slater and Nic Nemeths tussle earlier this evening.
  • Jeff Hardy is clear for action after being found attacked backstage a few weeks ago.
  • Moose is out due to a lingering neck injury.

 

Joe Alonzo hits the ramp and welcomes the audience to Total Nonstop Alonzo.

 

 

Indi Hartwell and Harley Hudson are chatting, and Santino Marella announces Daria Rae has been suspended. Santino Marella officially announces that Indi Hartwell will face off against TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside for the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Xia Brookside interrupts him, and is not happy about the announcement.

 

 

The Hardys hit the ring to demand answers as to who attacked them.
