TNA Wrestling World Tag Team Champions Jeff and Matt Hardy, collectively known as The Hardys, and TNA play-by-play broadcaster Tom Hannifan will be in Nashville on Thursday and Friday, February 5-6, to speak with the media ahead of the two live events at The Pinnacle in downtown Nashville on Friday & Saturday, February 13-14.

Brothers Jeff and Matt Hardy have been wrestling professionally since 1993, holding countless championships over the decades. WWE named The Hardys as one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history.

Jeff and Matt are the only team to have held the WWE/World, WCW, TNA, ROH, Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Revolutionary and fearless, they are known for their energetic, high-risk approach to pro wrestling.

The Hardys captured the TNA World Tag Team Championships in July 2025, in a four-way ladder match, where they defeated the defending champions The Nemeths, along with FIR$T CLA$$ and The Rascalz. Since then, they have successfully defended the titles against legendary career opponents Team 3D, NXT Tag Team Champions DarkState and TNA’s newest tag team, The Righteous.

Tom Hannifan is the lead play-by-play announcer for TNA Wrestling and widely regarded as one of the most professional commentators in sports entertainment. With more than a decade of experience calling world-class action, including a tenured career in WWE, Tom is “The Voice of TNA Wrestling,” providing the soundtrack to the some of biggest moments, moves and matches in professional wrestling.

10 FACTS FROM TOM HANNIFAN:

  • “I got to be a part of Ric Flair’s Last Match event in Nashville in 2022. I got to share the desk with Tony Schiavone as Tony called DDP hitting a Diamond Cutter. I felt like I’d been transported to the days of WCW.”

  • ‘Jackass’ director & producer Jeff Tremaine and TNA’s Nic Nemeth electrocuted Hannifan in 2015 on WWE Swerved. “I grew up as a huge fan of the Jackass show and movies.”

  • Hannifan played pee-wee football in Connecticut. Mike Golic Sr. was briefly his head coach, and he played with his sons, Mike Jr. & Jake.

  • “I’m very proud of my family’s military background. My late grandfather served in the Army; my father in the Marine Corps; and my brother currently serves in the Navy.”

  • “I have been on commentary twice where a wrestler attacked the gauge opening in Jeff Hardy’s ear lobe.” (WWE Hell In A Cell 2018, TNA Genesis 2026)

  • “TNA caught my attention when I was younger at first because of their tag team division.” (Motor City Machine Guns, Team 3D, Beer Money Inc, America’s Most Wanted, The Naturals, LAX, etc).

  • “On my bucket list of “things still to do in wrestling” is to call shows in Japan. Specifically, in the Tokyo Dome, Korakuen Hall and Budokan Hall.”

  • Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Hannifan graduated from Penn State University and is a lifelong college football fan.
