This past November, Frankie Kazarian called his shot to become the new TNA World Champion after the NXT outlaws delivered a jaw-dropping assault to Mike Santana.

 

Since then, Santana has made it his mission to reclaim the title he fought so valiantly to capture at Bound For Glory. It was initially announced that Santana would receive his rematch at TNA Wrestling's first pay-per-view extravaganza of 2026, Genesis.

 

Meanwhile, Kazarian would garner two successful title defenses against The System's JDC and TNA newcomer Bear Bronson.

 

In a shocking turn of events, Mike Santana revealed that Director of Authority Santino Marella has moved their scheduled TNA World Title match from Genesis to the premiere of Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC, LIVE January 15 at 9/8c.
