After reflecting on her future during Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC, Edwards admitted she was prepared to walk away from the company she has called home for years.

 

“TNA has been my home for many years,” she said. “I’ve been thinking about it and I just feel lost. I feel like I don’t belong here. There’s just too much going on with The System, with Eddie… I think I’m gonna, unfortunately, have to decline and step away.”

 

As it appeared Edwards was ready to turn down her contract offer, but Moose was ready to step in and keep her from walking away. 


“See, I was around the corner and I heard you say that you weren’t gonna sign that contract and I think that’s a bad idea,” Moose said. “You have to just think about this, you weren’t just the first lady of The System, you were the first lady of TNA, and the last I checked TNA is bigger than The System,” Moose continues.

“I know we got a lotta things going on with The System but I will take care of that and that doesn’t have anything to do with our friendship. So if I was you I would sign that cause TNA needs you and I need you. You could be my manager.”

The reminder of her legacy and her value beyond any one faction resonates deeply. She pauses, reflects for a moment, then finally responds, “You know what… that’s not a bad idea.”

Carlos agrees, “We need you too.”

After a pause that had the crowd holding its breath, Edwards made her decision.

“Well if that's the case..Do you wanna know something? I'll stay.”

Alisha Edwards officially re-signed with TNA Wrestling, reaffirming her place in the Knockouts division and ensuring that her story within TNA is far from over.
