But as revealed by Director of Authority Santino Marella, ABC must defend what will become the TNA World Tag Team Titles against not one, not two, but three formidable duos at Hard To Kill: the Rascalz, the newly-formed Trent Seven and Mike Bailey, and the debuting Grizzled Young Vets. IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley vs Nick Aldis – IMPACT World Championship (Slammiversary 2023)
Nick Aldis made a statement when he arrived on the scene in 2023 and immediately set his sights on the IMPACT World Championship. At Slammiversary, Aldis would have an opportunity to regain the title he once held, but in order to do so, he would have to triumph over the red-hot Alex Shelley. After being unable to put Shelley away, Aldis tried to cheat his way to victory – but it came back to bite him. In the end, Shelley delivered one final Shell Shock to retain the IMPACT World Title.

IMPACT World Tag Team Champions ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) vs Moose & Brian Myers vs Rich Swann & Sami Callihan vs SUBCULTURE (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster) – IMPACT World Tag Team Championship (Slammiversary 2023)
The IMPACT World Tag Team Titles were up for grabs at Slammiversary as ABC defended against not one, not two, but three formidable teams. The action was fast and furious as each team pulled out all the stops in an attempt to leave Windsor as champions. The finish came when Webster took out everyone with a Pinball Wizard to the outside. Meanwhile, Andrews delivered the final Shooting Star to Myers, awarding the victory and the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles to SUBCULTURE for the first time ever.
X-Division Champion Chris Sabin vs KENTA – X-Division Championship (Bound For Glory 2023)
IMPACT Wrestling’s biggest event of the year, Bound For Glory, played host the an epic showdown for the X-Division Championship as Chris Sabin defended against New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s KENTA. In the closing moments of a highly-competitive contest, Sabin connected with the Cradle Shock to retain the X-Division Championship and well-deserved moniker “King of the X-Division”.

IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley vs Josh Alexander – IMPACT World Championship (Bound For Glory 2023)
After being forced to relinquish the IMPACT World Title due to injury, Alexander finally had an opportunity to regain the title he never lost. It was the main event of Bound For Glory as Alexander challenged the man who stepped up in his absence, Alex Shelley. The level of competition was at an all-time high with both men willing to sacrifice it all in order to be named the “face of IMPACT Wrestling”. When the dust settled, it was Shelley who reigned supreme following a definitive Shell Shock, retaining the IMPACT World Title in the process.
Moment of the Year: IMPACT Wrestling Announces It Is Returning to TNA Wrestling in 2024
It comes as no surprise that the Year End Award for Moment of the Year goes to the announcement of the return of TNA Wrestling in 2024. The new era begins at Hard To Kill LIVE January 13th on pay-per-view.
Knockouts World Champion Trinity vs Mickie James – Knockouts World Championship (Bound For Glory 2023)
Two of the biggest names in professional wrestling went head to head for the first time ever at Bound For Glory with the illustrious Knockouts World Title on the line. It was Trinity vs Mickie James in what could only be described as a dream match of epic proportions. James was forced to relinquish the Knockouts World Title due to injury earlier in the year and now was her chance to reclaim it. While both Knockouts shared nothing but respect for one another, only one could stand tall in Chicago. A breathtaking contest came to a close when Trinity forced James to submit to Star Struck.

An adrenaline-pumping showdown like no other took place at Bound For Glory. Pro wrestling megastar Will Ospreay made his long-awaited return to IMPACT, but standing across the ring from him was the surging and undeniable Mike Bailey. In what fans voted as the 2023 Match of the Year, Bailey took Ospreay to his absolute limit but in the end, it was Ospreay who added another monumental victory to his long list of accolades.

At TNA Hard To Kill, PCO will rise once again. Stepping up to the “French-Canadian Frankenstein” will be the brash and arrogant Dirty Dango, who will surely inform the world of his feelings towards the sport of pro wrestling. Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling is back, bigger, better and longer than ever at the HARD TO KILL pay-per-view extravaganza on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The new-look TNA era kicks off with a special 1-Hour COUNTDOWN TO HARD TO KILL Show, starting at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, airing exclusively on the TNA+ app and, in the coming weeks, TNA will announce perks for new TNA+ subscribers.
The Countdown Show features a one-on-one battle of former IMPACT Wrestling World Champions, RICH SWANN vs. STEVE MACLIN. Also scheduled for the Countdown Show: TNA Originals ERIC YOUNG and KAZARIAN team up against BRIAN MYERS and EDDIE EDWARDS (with ALISHA EDWARDS).
Plus, TOMMY DREAMER will defend the Digital Media Championship on the Countdown Show against CRAZZY STEVE.
Additional matches for the Countdown Show will be announced in the coming weeks – and the only way to see the first matches of the new era of TNA Wrestling is to download the app and subscribe.
TNA Wrestling in early December announced that it has partnered with Endeavor Streaming to deliver its global, on-demand streaming service, TNA+, starting on Friday, January 5.
Endeavor Streaming will power the new TNA+ app to deliver an enhanced user experience to all fans across the top streaming platforms, as well as mobile and connected devices.
TNA+ will be available at TNAWrestling.com, via iOS, tvOS and Android mobile apps, as well as big screen devices such as Android TV, Fire TV and Roku, with more platforms to follow. IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander vs Bully Ray – Full Metal Mayhem for the IMPACT World Championship (Hard To Kill 2023)
At IMPACT Wrestling’s first pay-per-view event of 2023, the deeply-personal rivalry between Josh Alexander and Bully Ray reached its boiling point. Full Metal Mayhem meant that there was no shortage of tables, ladders, chairs – and even thumbtacks. In the end, Alexander received an assist from his wife, Jade Chung, who had been tormented by Bully in the leadup to the match. This led to Alexander leaping off the top of a ladder and sending Bully crashing through a table below. Alexander would then lock in his signature Ankle Lock to win by submission.
Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace vs Mickie James – Title vs Career Match for the Knockouts World Championship (Hard To Kill 2023)
The Last Rodeo reached its epic conclusion at Hard To Kill. Either Mickie James would reclaim the Knockouts World Championship – or she would retire. Overcoming the powerful Jordynne Grace would be no easy task, who was in the midst of an incredible run as Knockouts World Champion. In the end, James would not be denied as she hit the tornado DDT to not only win the Knockouts World Championship, but to keep her legendary career alive.

In the closing moments of this legendary showdown, Kong would put Shaw away with her signature Implant Buster.

The high-risk, high-wire spectacle known as Ultimate X came to IMPACT Wrestling’s spring pay-per-view extravaganza, Rebellion. With the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles hanging in the balance, reigning champions ABC and determined challengers the Motor City Machine Guns risked it all for the gold. When the dust had cleared, it was Chris Bey who climbed across the cables and retrieved the titles to award his team the victory.

Steve Maclin vs KUSHIDA – Vacant IMPACT World Championship (Rebellion 2023)
After Josh Alexander was forced to relinquish the IMPACT World Championship due to injury, Steve Maclin and KUSHIDA faced off to determine the new title-holder at Rebellion. KUSHIDA took Maclin to his absolute limit but it wasn’t enough. Ultimately, Maclin delivered a vicious KIA to win the match and IMPACT World Championship for the very first time in his career.

Jordynne Grace vs Deonna Purrazzo – Vacant Knockouts World Championship (Rebellion 2023)
The Knockouts World Championship was also vacant at Rebellion after Mickie James suffered the same fate and was forced to relinquish her title due to injury. In the main event, longtime rivals Jordynne Grace and Deonna Purrazzo squared off to determine the new champion. It was another intense showdown between the two, with Purrazzo gaining the upper-hand and eventually the victory following Queen’s Gambit.
One to Watch in 2024: KiLynn King
The daunting powerhouse KiLynn King is the winner of the Year End Award for One to Watch in 2024. What heights will she reach when the new era begins in 2024?
