At WWE Battleground, the wrestling world was rocked as NXT’s Trick Williams dethroned Joe Hendry to become the new TNA World Champion, making history as the first WWE Superstar to capture a TNA Championship.
Since then, Joe Hendry has been incensed on reclaiming the gold, not only for himself but for TNA Wrestling. At Slammiversary, the worldwide megastar will receive his rematch against Trick Williams when TNA’s summer pay-per-view extravaganza takes over Long Island, New York on July 20.
