Yoshiki Inamura Pins Trick Williams; Josh Briggs to Challenge for TNA World Title on WWE NXT
The stage was set for a big Six-Man Tag Team Match on WWE NXT pitting TNA World Champion Trick Williams and FIR$T CLA$$ against Elijah, Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura.
Earlier in the night, it was revealed that KC Navarro was unable to compete. Taking his place alongside Trick Williams and A.J. Francis was none other than Wes Lee of The High Ryze.
In the closing moments, the match began to break down as everyone got involved and disaster struck when Lee inadvertently collided with Trick. In a shocking turn of events, it was Yoshiki Inamura who pinned TNA World Champion Trick Williams following a splash from the top rope!
After the match, Inamura unveiled his plans that would see him become the NXT Champion and Briggs become the TNA World Champion. Inamura donated his TNA World Title opportunity to Briggs and the match was made official by Director of Authority Santino Marella for next Tuesday on NXT: Trick Williams vs. Josh Briggs for the TNA World Championship!
