Joe Hendry Defends Against Trick Williams in Historic TNA World Championship Match at WWE Battleground

Tonight at WWE Battleground, the TNA World Championship will be defended on a WWE PLE for the first time ever as Joe Hendry puts his title on the line against NXT’s Trick Williams!

Both champion and challenger have been at odds with each other for weeks, prompting a series of personal and heated physical altercations on both TNA and WWE programming.

This past Friday at Under Siege on TNA+, Joe Hendry teamed up with Elijah to defeat Frankie Kazarian and Trick Williams in a blockbuster tag team main event, setting the stage for tonight’s epic showdown.
